It is no secret that in today’s world it is variety that adds the spark and joy to life! With a passion for excellence and yet, a genuine heart and sensitivity for personal ministry, the DBC Music Ministry strives to meet the needs of our worshiping family while providing musical education for three year olds though senior adults.
Whatever the age and level of training, DBC offers many opportunities for its vocalists and instrumentalist.

With intentional planning, the multiplicity and size of our choral organizations and ensembles afford the sights and sounds of worship services to vary. From great choral classics to Southern gospel pieces, the wide range of vocal music may also include choral delicate solo renditions of favorite hymns or scripture. Also, several graded handbell choirs, full orchestra, and instrumental soloists further augment and enhance weekly worship experiences.
The numerous annual events of the Music Ministry have quickly established themselves in Richmond’s West End as family traditions for both DBC members and guests.
